During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kevin Feige had this to say when asked if there would be a Stan Lee cameo in Spider-Man: Far From Home:

It sounds like Spider-Man: Far From Home could be Stan’s final MCU cameo.

The Disney-Fox Merger  is set to close on March 20, 2019. This means that Marvel will have the rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four characters. It’s exciting to think about how these characters will show up in the MCU. However, there is a downside to the merger as at least 7,500 people are expected to be laid off in the process.

Nobody saw it coming when Marvel decided to release the second trailer for Avengers: Endgame. A new poster was also released. You can check both out below:

Variety reported that Sony has the next 7-8 years planned for Spider-Man projects in both film and television. They are planning their own Marvel Universe called Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters including shows that will crossover with each other. Projects are said to be ‘out soon’ and something ‘really, really big’ is being planned.

Slashfilm reported that Marvel is developing an animated anthology series for Disney+ called What If? It’ll be based on the comic series of the same name. The series wouldn’t be considered MCU canon and explore alternative scenarios to how events in the MCU happened. One of the episodes will be based on What If ? Vol. 1 #47, and explore the scenario: “What would happen if Loki had found the Hammer of Thor?” Actors from the MCU could potentially reprise their roles in the series.

Losing A Legend And Gaining An Agents Renewal.

Earlier this week we lost a legend when Stan Lee, co-creator of Marvel Comics, passed away at the age of 95. He was the creator or co-creator of an innumerable amount of characters including Dr. Strange, Spider-Man, Thor, Hulk, and Iron Man. He changed the comics industry forever with these memorable characters and will be greatly missed.

The Hollywood Reporter reported that Agents of Shield got renewed for a seventh season ahead of its season 6 premiere in Summer 2019. Just like season 6, season 7 will have 13 episodes. There is no word if Clark Gregg will be returning as Agent Coulson, but don’t freak out yet! Just because there’s no news, it doesn’t mean that he won’t return. At this point, revealing anything about our favorite agent would be considered a spoiler, if you remember how the story ended in season 5. (No spoilers for those who haven’t seen it yet!)

Tom Hiddleston will be returning to the London stage in Harold Pinter’s Betrayel during Jamie Lloyd’s Pinter at the Pinter season to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the playwright’s death. Tom will be playing Robert, one of the four characters in the play, which is about a seven- year extramarital affair shown in reverse chronological order. The play will run from March to June 2019 and general admission tickets are available November 30.

The Hashtag Show released the character breakdowns for two upcoming Phase 4 films, Black Widow and The Eternals. You can check out the character breakdowns in the links provided below:

Black Widow: http://thathashtagshow.com/2018/11/12/exclusive-marvel-studios-black-widow-character-breakdowns-revealed-as-casting-gets-underway/

The Eternals: http://www.thathashtagshow.com/2018/11/16/exclusive-the-eternals-character-lineup-revealed/

They also reported that Black Widow is expected to start filming in February or March of 2019 while The Eternals is rumored to start filming in September 2019.

Last but not least, The DisInsider reported that there’s a rumor about who will replace James Gunn as director of Guardians Vol. 3. Marvel is considering Bumblebee director, Travis Knight. He’s known for directing several animated films including Kubo And The Two Strings and Boxtrolls. Remember, this is just a rumor and nothing has been confirmed, but it’s nice to know that Marvel is eventually planning to continuing the Guardians franchise, even without James Gunn at the helm.
